After spending many years in marketing and for the most part enjoying it, I always found myself a bit jealous of the art dept. Getting paid for being creative. Window display was my first endeavor into the world of store & window display, inspired by Rhoda on TV of course. Sold space for magazines & newspapers. Had some really fun years in the 80's selling giant inflatable characters to the entertainment industry. Back when Friday's at the office meant a one martini minimum. Fast forward, the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Didn't want to commute with hours in traffic, timing was good, let's try Etsy! Something Mike & I could really get into. It has been a wonderful experience from day one.
Shopping big box online ......We were never really that impressed, especially in men's selection. In researching the idea of the store we both fell in love with the style, design & the fabrics of vintage. Not to mention the really interesting history behind the brands and life stories. #WearAbitofHistory
Enough about us....what about you!
We both have been internet Shoppers for quite some time. So the goal of shopping online is to drill down on the item as quickly as possible and hopefully end up with what you are looking for AND a great selection. The all under one roof angle. Customer Service is mandatory.
Shopping in our Etsy shop gives you access to shopping and communicating directly with the shop owner. Item questions, match up suggestions and pics, vintage box options, not to mention custom requests just use the convo contact. Etsy makes a great shopping app for smart phones and tablets. They take PayPal and credit cards, as well as gift cards. You can follow your favorite stores & get flagged when they upload special highlighted products.
Vintage style is not necessarily retro. If you are interested in a hand curated selection of the best condition, fabrics and designs with a unique look, but you don't have the time to vintage hunt, that’s our job. We wrap it all up as a sweet gift for yourself or someone else.
We love the satisfaction of making our customers happy, All the while you are appreciated for being a part of and supporting a homegrown business.
To all of our customers, thanks for making us "happy campers."
